So basically, you want to check the max evolution the cards you get can reach, since you want to use the ones with max green to evolve the ones with max. purple/blue. Then the ones with max. blue for evolving the ones with max. purple.
You can check the max. evolution of character in the evolution screen.
Every card you get from limited challenge can be evolved to purple. Most of the ones you get from normal draws as well.
It's recommended to use the friendship points to get the cards needed for green to blue evolution
This chart applies for almost every card.
